Are You Stressed?
For the last 3 years, I have been “burning the candle at both ends”. I am a full-time instructor at a local college, I have built a successful accounting and bookkeeping firm, and I completed a professional accounting designation. I have become use to working 14 or 16+ hour days . The bulk of my “work” involves sitting for long periods in front of my computer. This month, I completed the last step to obtaining my accounting designation and I feel strangely empty. A large part of my being was built around the stress in my life. With that in mind, I decided to look into one of my favourite sites: MindTools.com
There I found a great article on evaluating your current stress levels, and some tips on how to manage it. Here is the link: http://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newTCS_82.htm
For me…well, it’s time for a little R&R and some de-stressing…. Cheers!
Very good info. Lucky me I came across your blog by accident (stumbleupon).
I’ve saved it for later!
Chris: I find the website useful as I can take my laptop somewhere private and quite and contemplate the excercises. Thank you for forwarding this on.
